Kuzuki Kakyou
Beautiful, ethereal Kakyou... doomed to see and know what others cannot, yet to be impotent to affect what he sees. Kakyou is a yumemi, a dreamgazer, but what most would probably call a gift he's more likely to see as a curse. It's the reason for his misery and the reason why he has, effectively, never known what it is to be trully alive.
Kakyou is like a delicate porcelain doll, a treasure to be kept safe from the world lest it break. Or at least that's how the japanese government sees him, not so much because they care about him as because they want to use his ability to their own ends.
No one seems to know for how long Kakyou was a prisoner in an ivory tower, always watching but never participating, yearning to have some type of human contact. It finally came and went as quickly as an autumn leaf falls from a tree, and it left Kakyou even more alone; sure, this time, that he would never know love or warmth again. He allowed his soul and his wounded body to give up hope, falling into a sleep that he no longer had the will to wake up from.
As always, Kakyou knew what would come. He knew he would sleep for years, until the Dark Kamui awoke, but if he cared at all it was probably because he knew that the Dark Kamui could grant wishes.
And when the Dark Kamui asked him what his Wish was, Kakyou replied "...To die".
